ISLAM
Islam is the outward practice of the faith. It includes the five pillars—testifying that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad ﷺ is His Messenger, praying, giving zakah, fasting in Ramadan, and performing Hajj if able. These acts shape a Muslim’s daily life and build a clear rhythm of worship, gratitude, and service.

Testimony (Shahada)
“Today I have perfected your religion for you, completed My blessings upon you, and chosen as your religion Islam: [total devotion to God]; ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Prayer (Salat)

Charity (Zakat)
Zakāt means growth and increase. This meaning is derived from the Qurʾān which tells us that paying Zakāt purifies the believer from sins and increases his/her reward. ------------------------------------------------

Fasting (Sawm)
Among the five pillars of Islam, fasting is the fourth and is known for its great reward [Thawab] from Allah. Fasting is one of the acts through which Allah grants abundant forgiveness and reward. --

Pilgrimage (Hajj)
“Pilgrimage to this House is an obligation by Allah upon whoever is able among the people. And whoever disbelieves, then surely Allah is not in need of ˹any of His˺ creation.” – [Qur’an: Surah al-Imran: 97]
